Welcome to Hana Academy Seoul

Hana Academy Seoul was founded by Hana Financial Group to provide a new standard for advanced education in Korea. The school’s motto is "The word nurtures me, I nurture the world.“

We strive to equip our students with physical, cultural, ethical, and intellectual qualities so they can be well-rounded individuals who contribute to our society.

Furthermore, we put a great deal of effort into moral education to allow our students to grow into people of integrity, steadfast in their duties, and effective communicators.

International Symposium

Every summer, HAS hosts an International Symposium for high school students from around the world. Symposium participants present research, engage in discussion, enjoy cultural exchange, and discover Seoul with their international peers.

In 2010, students from HAS, Japan, and China presented on the theme, “Cooperation among Asian Countries to Address Climate Change.” From 2011 on, the Symposium added diversity by inviting not only Chinese and Japanese students but also students from Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Indonesia.
